CPR/First Aid Certification

This CPR and First Aid class is unlike any class you have taken! This concise class takes a subject that is serious and important and makes it easy-to-learn, while entertaining. The presenter offers his expertise in the field of emergency medicine and talent as a comedian to create a unique and memorable experience.

Anyone interested in obtaining a Healthcare Provider certification for their medical services career, this class will be modified to cover those criteria as well.  Please attend and let the instructor know upon arrival.

You will:

• Receive a two-year American Heart Association card (to be mailed to you within two weeks after the class)
• Review CPR and First Aid (Adult/Child/Infant)
• Review Choke Saving
• Review AED (Automatic External Defibrillator)
• Hands-on practical station for demonstration

About the Presenter

Bill Simas has been an instructor with the American Heart Association for over 20 years.  He teaches approximately 200 classes each year.  He spent 13 years on Rescue 2 and Engine 2 of the West Warwick Fire Department, and with his experiences, he has helped to develop and create a straight-forward class environment with a practical, no stress, and easy-to-understand program.  He is the owner and operator of the most successful CPR certification/recertification business in Rhode Island, ABC Medical Certifications.
